St. Angela Merici Church

Please join us this Wednesday, August 19th, for a special night of prayer. Fr. Dan Darmanin will lead the Wednesday Night Eucharistic Adoration with a rosary starting at 6:15pm (note change) ending with Benediction at 7:00pm as we pray for the repose of the soul of Elise Angelette, Fr. Beau's sister.

Elise's funeral Mass will take place at St. Peter's Catholic Church (Covington) on Thursday at Noon. For those who cannot attend due to COVID-19 space restrictions, the Mass will be live-streamed from St. Peter's YouTube page. A link is provided below.

• Face Masks are required to be worn in church at all times.
• Please use hand sanitizer provided and please wipe down your seating area upon leaving church.
• Please maintain social distancing before and after mass.
• Every other pew is roped off to help maintain social distancing.
• Sunday's readings are provided in our weekly bulletin.  Bulletins are located at each entrance of the church.

Loving and faithful God, the coronavirus reminds us that we have no power and we are dependent on you. We place ourselves in your loving hands. Give eternal rest to all who have died from the virus.  Place your healing hand on those who are ill, and give your protection to us in this time of fear and uncertainty. Calm our fears and help us to trust you as our faithful God. Enlighten our government and Church leaders as they are faced with important decisions. Give blessings to those in health care and protect them.

We ask this through Christ our Lord.
